This is an overwrought op-ed by Joe Wilson’s lawyer er, neighbor. I also find it odd that this guy believed his neighbor, Valerie Plame, was unemployed or “between engagements” for five years even as they shared cookouts and whatnot. Didn’t the fact this woman got in a car and went to work everyday suggest that maybe she was doing something else? It would also be nice to have Wilson’s neighbor-lawyer explain why being named is so profoundly dangerous, but having her grinning picture plastered in Vanity Fair and the New York Times is harmless. I’m still in favor of getting a full accounting of what happened, but this just reads like grandstanding.
