Okay so it’s not exactly a vital bellweather, but last night while dining with Hamilton Republicans, we went around the table declaring who we supported for ‘08 (I don’t have a preferred candidate yet). There were about dozen kids there — all political junkies to one extent or another — and all of them were for Giuliani. Admittedly there was a big New York bias — they were mostly from the NY area — but it was pretty surprising to me nonetheless. At St. Lawrence, we didn’t do the same thing, but I got the sense a lot of kids were on the same page. The same caveats apply. But I thought it was interesting.
