I tried to read the Andrew Sullivan post that Jonah referenced, but I
really can’t look very long at any web page that has that “Ultimate
Fitness Program” ad. The guy looks like he is made of raw meat, and
it disturbs me.
Anyway, on gays being the new Jews — one big difference leaps to
mind. Gays in large numbers subscribe to a political movement (the
Left) that zealously protects their interests. Jews (a majority of
them, anyway) subscribe to that same movement, despite the fact that
for years it’s been turning on them — witness the recent
Israel-baiting of John Conyers’ mock-impeachment hearing.
