According to this report, Wolcott’s “hero” has been rallying behind the Syrian dictator. “Mr. Galloway stressed that the speech delivered by President Bashar al-Assad on Thursday [an attack on some of the Lebanese leadership] was welcomed by all the honest around the world, adding that his speech was that of a man who refuses subordination and believes in independent decisions and full Arab rights.”
