That Frist doesn’t clearly articulate his position (see Ramesh) makes it all the more infuriating—here’s a doctor and a leader who understands all the confusion about this debate. If he did it on principle, this could have been his opportunity for a teachable moment. If it wasn’t principle, all he did was further muddle the debate—and with the “doctor” stamp on it (which now, as opposed to in the Schiavo debate, the Left will embrace from him). Thanks, doc.
