On NPR this morning, I learned that Dianne Feinstein said during yesterday’s opening session that she served on a Californa prison review board or some such and that she had to send women who had abortions to prison before Roe V. Wade. I’ll give her the benefit of the doubt, but I’d still be interested to know if this has been fact-checked. I’m no expert on the history of abortion but I’d be curious to know how often she had to do this. It just smells a bit fishy.
