Facts and Fictions about College

Leftists yammer all the time about the need to combat “disinformation” about such things as the nonnatural origins of Covid and the possibility that there might have been voter fraud during the 2020 election. We can’t have the people entertaining such thoughts!

But there is still a load of disinformation about the supposed benefits of going to college, spread by leftists who want to get as many people as possible into an environment dominated by their propaganda.

On his BattleSwarm blog, Lawrence Person provides some compelling evidence that young people continue to be hornswoggled by the claim that college will ensure you get a good job. They even believe that they’ll be earning six-figure incomes shortly after graduation.

The right way to counter this disinformation is not by federal censorship but by using our still-standing First Amendment rights to convey the truth, which is that for many young people, college is a big waste of time and money.
