A good pollster tells me that Senator Pat Roberts (R., Kan.) has a better shot at hanging on than the polling averages might indicate, based on exit polls earlier today.
Roberts had a slight lead over independent opponent Greg Orman earlier today, according to an exit poll. The pollster cautioned that exits can be unreliable, but, they also tend to improve for Republicans as the day progresses — GOP voters tend not to be at home during the day, so earlier exits are usually skewed towards Democrats.
