Enviros Go After McCain

Senator McCain has a reputation for being more sympathetic to environmental regulation than most of his conservative colleagues in the Senate.  The League of Conservation Voters is attacking his environmental record nonetheless.  Indeed, last week the LCV gave him a “zero” in their annual vote rating, placing him at the bottom of the group’s environmental score.  Of course, only a cynic would think the low rating has anything to do with McCain’s presidential aspirations.
