I spotted Rep. Jeff Flake (R., Ariz.) last night at the book party for Robert Novak’s Prince of Darkness . Alcohol was being served, but I know that Flake is a Mormon, so I can’t make any excuses for his “Egregious Earmark of the Week” pun this week.
This week’s egregious earmark: $150,000 to the Museum of the Moving Image in Queens, New York for facility expansion. “I give this earmark two thumbs way down,” said Flake.
Then again, the humor dulls the pain of seeing my tax money spent this way…
