E Day

I will watch the news coverage today to see if my favorite election day urban legend reappears. As far back as I can remember, the morning stories all said “record turnout,” and there were anecdotal accounts of long lines, huge crowds, etc. etc. But by evening, it was the usual percentage.

So far, it’s holding to form.
