I’m still not entirely sure what the point of Twitter is, but I’ve dipped my toe in @MarkSKrikorian. What really mystifies me, though, is how anyone can “follow” hundreds or even thousands of people. I follow just 23, and that’s more than enough to keep up with — there’s no way that anyone could actually see more than a tiny fraction of the tweets coming from such huge numbers of tweeters unless you did nothing else all day. Am I missing something?
