Dr. Laura

Today’s Between the Covers podcast is with Laura Vanderkam, author of 168 Hours: You Have More Time than You Think. We discuss whether Americans are truly overworked, the biggest time-management mistake people make, and why leisure activities can demand careful planning.

There’s nothing especially conservative about Laura’s book, except perhaps between the lines: She says that we’re the creators of our time rather than the victims of powerful forces that suck up our waking hours. Anyway, have a listen. NRO’s sound man liked the interview so much that he went out and bought a copy of the book for his wife.

The easiest way to keep up with these podcasts may be to subscribe on iTunes. They become available at the very moment they’re posted on NRO. The service is free. Sign up.
