My kids are both cracking up over, or with, this weather lady. So much for the notion that Germans have no sense of humor. Who could ever have believed such a thing?
I recall the last time I was told a joke by a German, in German. I can’t reconstruct the joke–this was many, many years ago–but it concerned a crushed apple seller –zerquetschterapfelverkäufer– and hinged on a misunderstanding about who or what was being crushed, the apples or the seller. Ha ha ha ha ha!
