Curtain Call for Premiere

Premiere magazine is folding. I haven’t read it in a while, but it’s kind of a shame. I think my favorite piece I ever read in the mag was David Foster Wallace’s lengthy profile of weirdo-director David Lynch (a director whose artsy-fartsy madman films I’ve always had a soft spot for). Is this one of the early signs of the Death of Print or just a magazine that couldn’t make ends meet anymore? I don’t know, but I’ll miss seeing it on the newsstands.
