Hillary has announced as much, with her “I’m just warming up” comments to Ohio audiences yesterday. Anyway, it’s a mark of Obama’s gullibility that he believed that Hillary would just crumple up and disappear because he beat her in 11 straight races, or accused her of the politics of “desperation.”
I believe almost nothing that comes out of Hillary’s mouth, and I disagree with almost everything she stands for. BUT — you have to say this for her: She has faced down humiliation in her marriage; disappointments,disparagements and failures in her work; an electorate that does not love her; a much tougher road to the White House than she had any reason to expect — and just kept on going. She does not take “no” for an answer. Things would cause me to die of shame, she just ignores, and gets up and puts on a different colored pants suit the next day. For this, I admire her. Also for this I consider it deeply problematic to let her get her hands on the levers of government.
At the moment I would bet on a convention.
