From long ago, and far away, but still relevant — two good friends, old friends (Stan’s first NR essay was published in 1956!), shoulder-to-shoulder movement founders, men with enduring legacies. It was only fitting that in 2005, as NR celebrated its 50th Anniversary, Bill Buckley asked Stan Evans to be the MC. The night was terrific. Stan was terrific. And surely he still is. Rest in peace.
