Today the wonderful Fr. George Rutler celebrates his 25th anniversary as a priest. He’s honorary chaplain here (has sometimes posted to The Corner, has written for NRODT, and is a frequent morale booster and, of course, moral guide). Congratulations. I have such admiration — as I know many do — for men who answer the call to be damn good priests (can I say that?).
