Funny you should mention him in the context of a comedy. Went to Rumor Has It last night. Reasonably amusing fluff. But the Kevin Costner character gives a speech to a bunch of techies that cites and quote Guevara, referring to him as a medical doctor and not as a founder of the Cuban gulags. (Rob Reiner produced, and Shirley MacLaine stars, so I guess it’s what one would expect.) They further drive this home with a picture of the Costner character posing with Fidel. Sigh.
