Jabs at the dysfunctional Healthcare.gov made by Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood during Thursday’s Country Music Awards were well-received by the audience.
The sketch started with Paisley hurting — or, as he put it, “twerking” — his back, and then Underwood suggested that he look into enrolling for a health-care plan through the Obamacare exchange website. As they pretended to attempt signing up, both broke into song about the slow website:
Obamacare by morning, why is this takin’ so long?
I’m gonna wind up with hemorrhoids if I sit here till dawn,
We’ll have cataracts and dementia, oh this is on my last nerve,
Obamacare by morning, over six people served.
