Susan Orr is not an unqualified extremist. And just because someone may have a common-sense view of human sexuality — that she doesn’t assume that teens can’t be challenged – doesn’t make her an unqualified extremist.
That she worked at the Family Research Center is not a disqualifier. That she doesn’t think the word “abstinence” is dirty is not a disqualifier.
Some of my best friends have worked at the Family Research Center. (I can’t wait to be quoted on that one!)
