My brother used to criticize everything I did as being elitist. Yet he
was the one who gave me a ravioli maker for Christmas and when I had to
ask what the odd looking device was, he said, “What, you don’t make your
own pasta!”
So, my basic principle is: “You know you’re elitist, when you use the
work “elitist” as a put-down.”
