Ag Subsidies Cont’d

Another email:

About 20 years ago, Dick Armey and Barney Frank tried to put together a coalition of fiscal conservatives and (for lack of better term) urban liberals with the hope of ending farm subsidies. It didn’t work, of course, but there’s at least one case where some attempt to bridge the ideological divide was attempted. Karl Zinsmeister wrote about it in Reason at the time (just after I started working there).

As for Yglesias’ objections, is it just possible that he’s being dishonest?
