I was just talking to a Senate source and am pretty convinced congressional Dems will have a satisfying Presidents’ Day. This Iraq-res week will conclude with the House passing the non-binding Pelosi-Reid resolution around three today. Then move onto the Senate and Reid’s Saturday stunt. Even with 6-8 Republicans going the Reid way, the resolution probably won’t get cloture. Meaning: Sunday-show spin will be: Republicans shut down Iraq war debate.
