The ACLU ran a full-page ad in the Sunday New York Times urging the president not to reverse himself on civilian trials for terror detainees. The ad shows a portrait of President Obama morphing into one of George W. Bush.
The ad calls on President Obama to “decide whether he will keep his solemn promise to restore our Constitution and due process, or ignore his vow and continue the Bush-Cheney policies.”
