‘100% Cotton’: The Senator from Arkansas on Issues Domestic and Foreign

100% Cotton: The Senator from Arkansas on Issues Domestic and Foreign | Uncommon Knowledge

Tom Cotton has been a U.S. senator since 2015. Before that, he served for two years in the U.S. House of Representatives from Arkansas’ fourth district, after defeating a two-term Democratic incumbent. Cotton served in the U.S. Army, where he was stationed in Iraq and Afghanistan. He’s a graduate of Harvard College and Harvard Law School.

In this wide-ranging interview, conducted in the Hugh Scott Room in the U.S. Capitol, Senator Cotton opines on a variety of issues, including the wars in the Middle East and Ukraine and the looming conflict with China over Taiwan; his “war” with the New York Times; what can be done about the lack of trust in U.S. institutions; and why he’s not running for president in 2024.
