The Associated Press reports that Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV) is stepping up his efforts to confirm more of President Obama’s judicial nominees. Specifically, Reid filed cloture petitions on 17 judicial nominations yesterday, in an effort to force votes on each one. All of the nominations in question are to federal district courts.
