A couple clarifications:
1. I did indeed have the pleasure of sitting at the same table as Chief Justice and Mrs. Roberts at last Friday’s National Catholic Prayer Breakfast. But I was not a guest of the Chief’s, as the phrase “the Chief’s table” might suggest. Rather, the organizers of the event were kind enough to seat the Chief Justice and his wife at the same table that I and friends of the Ethics and Public Policy Center were seated at.
2. In the fuzzy background, that’s Kathryn Lopez over my right shoulder and Solicitor General Paul Clement over my left.
