Jon, please correct me if I’m wrong about this, but isn’t that exactly what the House tried to do on sneak-and-peek search warrants? I may not be remembering this correctly, but I thought they did not try to kill sneak-and-peek substantively but rather voted to kill any appropriation specifically for seeking and carrying out sneak-and-peek warrants in the next fiscal year.
