Re: Geoffrey Stone’s Partisan Hackery on Filibusters

A follow-up to my critique on Monday of law professor Geoffrey Stone’s ridiculous and error-strewn Huffington Post piece:

Somehow the Chicago Tribune saw fit to publish on Tuesday virtually the very same piece (with the same title), with only trivial changes like changing “yesterday” to “last week”—and, of course, with none of Stone’s errors corrected.

The Tribune’s standards are evidently even lower than the Huffington Post’s: Not only did the Tribune see fit to publish Stone’s tripe, but it did so after the Huffington Post already had. And it nowhere notes that Stone had already published the piece elsewhere.

In fairness to the Tribune, I suppose that it’s possible that Stone chose not to disclose that he had already published the same piece.
