Today President Obama nominated Court of International Trade Judge Evan Wallach to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. BLT covers the nomination here. Meanwhile, via How Appealing comes word that Charleston, West Virginia attorney Stephanie Thacker will be nominated to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit. Thacker is a veteran of the Southern District of West Virginia U.S. attorney’s office and also worked in the Department of Justice.
In other nomination news, last week the Senate Judiciary Committee approved the nomination of Connecticut district court judge Christopher Droney to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit.
