On top of my upcoming talks on “Donald Trump in the Supreme Court” in Reno and Sacramento, I will be in Nashville next Thursday, April 11 to join Third Circuit judge Thomas Hardiman for an event titled “An Inside Look at the Judicial-Confirmation Process.” Judge Hardiman has the rare experience of having been a district-court nominee, an appellate nominee, and a finalist for a Supreme Court nomination. I look forward to discussing his experience in the broader context of the transformation of the judicial-confirmation process that I have been describing in my “Confirmation Tales” Substack.
