Harris is lying when she says that our troops are not in harm’s way. That’s why we had three reservists killed a few months ago, because we’re still involved in Syria’s conflict and have many undermanned outposts.
Trump calling Biden “her boss” is effective.
Harris is right that Trump’s Afghanistan policy was bad. That doesn’t change the fact that Biden’s policy was worse. She can’t fix their disaster by pretending that their hands were tied by Trump.
Harris arguing that she was there to talk to Zelensky, not Putin, is a fact-check win over Trump but totally missed his point, which is that they sent her over there and what followed was not deterrence, but war.
When you’re a politician, and you’re asked a question about dead soldiers, you need to start by acknowledging the dead soldiers. Harris, instead, goes directly into her defense of Biden on Afghanistan.
“I agreed with President Biden’s decision to pull out of Afghanistan.” – Harris .
Somehow Trump just rhetorically defeated Harris on Ukraine, and logically that isn’t actually possible.
Trump is wasting an opportunity to trash the Biden team for its irrational fear of Russia’s nuclear saber-rattling. Instead, he’s making their argument in favor of self-deterrence for them!
Harris kneecaps her own argument on Ukraine by telling Trump that Putin “would eat you for lunch.” Which…didn’t happen when Trump was president.
Harris is posturing as a hawk on Ukraine, talking up the ordnance the Biden administration has transferred to Ukraine from the outset of the war. But that ordinance came only after long delays, which were a result of this administration’s paralyzing fear of antagonizing the Kremlin. Even now, restrictions on the use of ordnance on targets inside the Federation are hamstringing the Ukrainian offensive in Kursk.
