“After decades in law enforcement…” Hey, where was that self-description when she was running for president in 2019 or vice president in 2020?

And why are those doctors so scared, Kamala? Could it be Democrats intentionally lying about abortion laws? Ah, yeah.

Harris accuses Trump of wanting to enact a sales tax that will cost America billions. That’s not really what he’s proposed, although you can argue Trump’s universal 10 percent tariff on all imported goods will impose considerable new costs on all of America’s consumers. Of course, the Biden administration has imposed its share of tariffs over the past few years as well, and it’s hardly a bunch of free-traders in this team. Oh, well, I’m sure Kamala Harris will clarify her views on free trade and tariffs in her next press conference.

When did Donald Trump try to get rid of Social Security and Medicare? Must have missed that one.

This is a glimpse at that “prosecutor vs. felon” dynamic Ds have been hungry for. And reading the litany of Trump’s offenses like a charging document is effective. It’s language any American familiar with procedural dramas will at least recognize and may find compelling.

Harris claims to be a “common sense” politician, but in her first run for president, she called for confiscating guns, banning fracking, and kicking 180 million people off of their private health insurance. Now, her campaign claims she no longer holds these views. But the first major campaign proposals called for packing the Supreme Court and implementing national price controls.

Trump is not a serious man but electing him would have serious consequences–a nice bit of rhetoric from Harris.

Noah Rothman

To judge from the week’s programming, Harris spent most of her career prosecuting criminals in California. She did a quick stint in the Senate, where she mostly interrogated Brett Kavanaugh, then nothing much happened until she parachuted into the presidential nomination.

Kamala Harris is proving herself as a great challenger against the incumbent, Joe Biden.
