The crowd at the RNC erupts when Texas Governor Greg Abbott touts his own efforts to bus border crossers to Northern cities. He deserves a victory lap. That program was a remarkable political coup, which, for pennies on the dollar, managed to compel the mayors of Chicago, New York, and Washington D.C. to give voice to all the same complaints about illegal immigration frontline state governors have been making for years.
Greg Abbott says, “On Nov 5, Joe Biden will be fired.” Given the pace at which things are happening among Democrats, it’s possible lines such as these will be outdated pretty soon.
