Question: Are you too told for this job?

Biden: They used to say I was too young, when I was young. Let’s talk about microchips.

Dominic Pino

Biden addresses his age by noting that he used to be young. Which, well, yeah, I guess.

Michael Brendan Dougherty

There’s something darkly comic about Dana Bash asking Biden about his age and competence 80 minutes into a debate in which many viewers have been thinking of little else.

Dan McLaughlin

Trump now promising to get Evan Gershkovich out.

Jeffrey Blehar

Did not expect Trump to stand up for the WSJ’s Evan Gershkovich. In his own uniquely Trump way: “Putin’s asking for too much money! I’ll get him back faster and cheaper!”

Philip Klein

I bet if you took a poll of Dems right now about whether Biden should be replaced by another candidates, the numbers would be overwhelming.

Dominic Pino

Customs duties account for less than 2 percent of federal revenue.

Luther Ray Abel

Trump: “They’re killing us as a country, Joe.”

Biden: *turns away to cough while looking at the floor*

Ramesh Ponnuru

“The Manchurian Candidate”–first pop-culture reference of the night?

Dan McLaughlin

If you’re scoring a Bingo card of Trump Going There, “he’s a Manchurian candidate” belongs on the list.
