Desantis doubles down on Christie hit on Trump for not showing up

Dominic Pino

Fantastic answer from Christie on the debt. Neither party is willing to make the hard choices, and deficit spending contributes to inflation.

Dan McLaughlin

“Donald Trump hides behind the walls of his golf clubs and won’t show up here to answer questions” – Christie nails it.

Michael Brendan Dougherty

Pence called for repealing the Green New Deal. Very proactive considering that it hasn’t been passed.

Jim Geraghty

“Donald Trump hides behind the walls of his golf courses, and won’t show up to answer the questions here.” Christie ate his Wheaties this morning!

Finally someone hits Trump for not showing up

Jack Butler

A bit odd that DeSantis hasn’t spoken yet, no?

Kathryn Jean Lopez

I don’t have patience for also-rans this year. With the exception of Doug Burgum. Because North Dakota makes us better.

Dan McLaughlin

Burgum may not have a broad bandwidth on issues, but the man knows energy and transportation policy.

Michael Brendan Dougherty

Doug Burgum finally brings up the real issue in the auto industry- the government’s push to make a premature switch to electric vehicles. He got in an anti-China angle on the answer as well. Impressive.
