If You Disagree with These Insulting Phone Messages I Received, Please Help NRO

This is what we’re up against: a Left that is hateful, inflamed, and uninterested in hearing the other side.

As you know, we’ve been strongly supportive of Brett Kavanaugh, and we’ve been getting some feedback.

Here is a phone message I got after the New York Times apparently noted something I said in favor of Kavanaugh after his testimony:

At least this caller, although supercilious and insulting, kept it clean.

Here is a rawer comment, from a different caller, that I received after appearing on NPR to defend Kavanaugh (severe language warning):

This is what we’re up against: a Left that is hateful, inflamed, and uninterested in hearing the other side, especially if our point of view is — as we try to do here every day — expressed in a factual, rational manner. That truly drives them crazy.

Needless to say, we aren’t going to shut up, which is the only thing that would satisfy them. The treatment of Judge Kavanaugh was disgraceful even before the last two weeks, when it became truly rancid. We are going to keep covering the story hour by hour and pushing back on the hysteria and the smears.

I can’t reply to the two callers because, of course, neither left his name. But if you can chip in to help us continue to do what we do here every day, it will be the most eloquent possible response.

You can donate here. Thank you for being here for us.
