Democrats Are Campaigning Like The Minority Party

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D., Nev.) and the rest of the Democratic campaign apparatus have been running on climate change and the increasingly-fictive war on women (with a particular emphasis on birth control). For good measure, they accuse the Koch brothers and other outside groups of trying to buy the election.

That sort of national campaign platform, designed to motivate the base, is the kind of tactic you’d expect from a minority party running in a favorable political environment. Democrats, of course, are struggling to hold on to power with an unpopular president dragging down the ticket.

What’s the analogous Republican message?
