At the Western Conservative Summit’s presidential straw poll this weekend, Herman Cain beat Rick Perry, 48 percent to 13 percent.
Both men had spoken at the conference, along with Rick Santorum and John Bolton.
Mitt Romney and Santorum tied for third, each commanding 10 percent of the vote. Michele Bachmann followed with 9 percent support, while Bolton received 4 percent.
