Clinton Campaigning for Manchin Again

Former president Bill Clinton will join Democrat Gov. Joe Manchin on Monday for a campaign rally in Beckley, W. Va.

“The governor is honored that his friend President Bill Clinton will join him again on the campaign trail,”  said Manchin campaign spokeswoman Lara Ramsburg in a statement. “President Clinton connects with West Virginians, and this is truly a great way to ramp up the campaign heading into Election Day. We invite all West Virginians to join us.”

Clinton campaigned for Manchin earlier this month, headling a rally in Morgantown, W. Va. Unlike President Obama, who lost the state by a significant margin to Sen. John McCain in 2008, Clinton successfully won West Virginia in both 1992 and 1996.
