Over the weekend, the Columbus Dispatch wrote a profile of Congressman Portman, and it just underscored how strongly his friends feel about electing him to protect their special interests in the U.S. Senate — and even beyond.
“I would suggest to you that Portman will be a vice presidential candidate in the very near future,” one of them predicted in the article.
Not so fast.
Ohioans can’t afford to have Congressman Portman in the U.S. Senate and we DEFINITELY can’t afford to have anyone who believes sending Ohio jobs overseas is good for all of us in one of the highest offices in the land.
