My Pope Center colleague Jay Schalin writes today about a recent flap at North Carolina State involving offensive graffiti. After a couple of doltish students painted anti-Obama graffiti (promptly painted over by the university), the usual suspects started howling for investigations, commissions, diversity training, and so on. Unfortunately, the UNC system isn’t capable of saying, “Just forget about it,” and is going to have a commission look into what response the system should make.

It already made the right response, with a can of spray paint.
