HELP

Chicago (That Toddlin’ Town)
(With apologies to Fred Fischer, Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett, etc., etc.)

Chicago will soon be an NRO town.
Next Thursday the whole crew is comin’ on down — you’ll love it!
Bet your bottom dollar we’ll chase the blues from
Chicago, Chicago,
A town that really needs to be painted red!

Hear Lowry tell how he brought the Clintons to book.

Then Andrew will take on Euro-crooks — hey!

See Kathryn and Derb slug it out on pro-life,

Hear Jonah explain why a man’s not a wife,

In Chicago, Chicago, our next town!

Seriously, folks, if our fundraiser in Chicago next Thursday, June 23rd, is half as much fun as last month’s in Atlanta, you won’t want to miss it.

There’ll be wonkery, wisdom, and wit in equal measures from, as well as the above-mentioned, Jay Nordlinger and Byron York. For a couple of hours we shall kick around the issues of the day and field questions in a panel-discussion format. Then there’ll be cocktails and dinner, followed, if you have the stamina, by a debriefing at Mahogany Ridge. It’s all in a good cause — keeping the flame of Buckleian conservatism burning bright.

And I promise not to sing.
