Secretary of the Interior Ken Salazar seems to have threatened to punch someone who was worried about horse slaughter. Witnesses say that Salazar threatened to wallop a reporter in Colorado who asked too many questions “about the government’s relationship with a wild horse buyer who allegedly sold more than 1,700 horses to Mexican slaughterhouses,” according to Politico. A spokesman for Salazar said he “regrets the exchange.” Yeah, no kidding.
