Just a few weeks ago, the Obama administration posted the following call on the White House website:
There is a lot of disinformation about health insurance reform out there… If you get an email or see something on the web about health insurance reform that seems fishy, send it to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Today on Uncommon Knowledge, a reply by Rep. Thaddeus McCotter, the fourth-ranked Republican in the House of Representatives:
This is not a disinformation campaign by anybody except the White House. The administration is trying to portray its plan as anything but a step toward a single-payer system. But that’s what it is—and Americans don’t like it.
