I’m with Ramesh.  I’d also find it easier to take Dr. K’s criticism of the candidates for not being able to distinguish establishment from free exercise if he himself had acknowledged the folly of the formal establishment of a state religion in the new Iraqi Constitution (mid-wifed by the State Department).  Instead, as I discussed here, he chided those of us who made an argument very similar to the one he’s making now.
